Linux Infrastructure Administrator (m/w/x)
CO2 emissions in the real estate sector must be reduced quickly. But what is not measured cannot be controlled in a targeted manner: Our live data on consumption and generation in properties enables the most effective use of electricity, gas, heat and water in everyday life.
We are a young Berlin start-up that supports sustainability and also lives it in our day-to-day business. We are looking for a infrastructure administrator in Berlin or Heidelberg at the earliest possible date.
Aufgaben
- You will drive the expansion and improvement of our IT infrastructure.
- You will set up cloud and server environments for hosting our software.
- Together with the team, you will seek solutions to ensure the reliability and future viability of our platform.
- You will develop a deep understanding of the interaction between the software and network components of our existing systems.
- You will be able to reconcile external conditions (e.g., requirements from ISO 27001) with our operational requirements.
- You will develop a solid basic knowledge of the German energy market and the role of metiundo as a wMSB in order to be able to assess the complexity of future projects.
Profil
- You have a university degree in computer science (or a related field), equivalent training, or several years of relevant professional experience.
- You have at least 2 years of operational experience in system administration.
- You are familiar with
-> the administration of Linux environments.
-> the implementation and administration of cloud infrastructures in AWS (or similar).
-> the implementation and administration of virtual machines in Proxmox (or similar). - You have proven self-hosting skills and are familiar with docker or docker-compose, systemd, nginx (or similar) and PostgreSQL (or similar).
- You take a pragmatic approach to challenges and can prioritize tasks with long-term input.
- You are fluent in English (at least C1) and can communicate very well in German (at least B2).
