Lead of Office IT (m/w/x)
CO2 emissions in the real estate sector must be reduced quickly. But what is not measured cannot be controlled in a targeted manner: Our live data on consumption and generation in properties enables the most effective use of electricity, gas, heat and water in everyday life.
We are a young Berlin start-up that supports sustainability and also lives it in our day-to-day business. We are are looking for a Lead of Office IT (m/w/x) in Berlin at the earliest possible date.
Responsibilities
- You will assume technical and leading responsibility for our Office IT team and actively help shape its expansion and growth.
- You will be responsible for our employees’ IT infrastructure and workplace equipment (hardware, networks, mobile communications) across all locations, as well as for efficient service and support processes.
- You will further develop our Linux- and open-source-based office IT landscape, particularly our Ansible-based remote management.
- You will coordinate IT-related onboarding and offboarding processes, taking into account the needs of our employees, managers, and the People Team.
- In collaboration with others, you will initiate and develop training and awareness programs for employees.
- You will be responsible for procurement, asset management, and budget planning for our IT hardware.
Profile
- You have a degree in computer science, comparable IT training, or relevant practical experience.
- You have some experience in a leadership or coordinating role within an IT department.
- You have several years of technical experience with Linux systems and networks.
- You have experience in the design, implementation, and operation of remote management and client provisioning systems, ideally with Ansible.
- You are willing to travel to our other locations several times a year—approximately once every three months.
- You have very good written and spoken German and English skills (at least C1 level).
- Ideally, you also have experience in the administration of Windows systems.
