Financial Planning & Analysis Manager (m/f/x)
CO2 emissions in the real estate sector must be reduced quickly. But what is not measured cannot be controlled in a targeted manner: Our live data on consumption and generation in properties enables the most effective use of electricity, gas, heat and water in everyday life.
We are a young Berlin scale-up that supports sustainability and also lives it in our day-to-day business. We are looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager (m/f/x) in Berlin at the earliest possible date.
In this key role, you will be responsible for establishing, scaling, and automating our FP&A and controlling processes. Your role goes far beyond mere data management: through strategic collaboration with management and the business units, you will work alongside your manager to create the transparency we need for our next phases of growth.
Responsibilities
- You automate target/actual comparison and identify variances early on, before they become critical.
- You use budget planning and forecasting as a strategic tool, actively steering the business rather than merely documenting it.
- You keep an eye on financial performance at all levels and flag unfavorable developments early on.
- You further develop our KPI framework so that it actually provides valuable information: precise, meaningful, and directly linked to our corporate goals.
- You optimize data quality across departments, laying the foundation for valid analyses throughout the company.
- You will create and maintain investor reports to communicate the company’s financial figures in a transparent and understandable manner.
- You will be the primary point of contact for ad-hoc analyses when management or external stakeholders need quick, reliable figures.
Profile
- You have a degree in business administration, economics, or a comparable qualification.
- You have at least 3 years of professional experience in management consulting, venture capital, FP&A, controlling, or internal audit.
- You enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
- You are disciplined, analytical, and solution-oriented, even when faced with complex challenges.
- You enjoy acquiring new knowledge and work independently and proactively.
- You have business-fluent German (min. C1) and very good English skills (min. B2).
What we offer
- A job that lays the foundations for using energy and water sustainably and consciously.
- Permanent position with a fixed salary of between EUR 60 - 70 thousand.
- Flexible trust-based working hours, part-time option, at least two days of mobile working per week, individual training plan and regular feedback meetings.
- Germany ticket or job bike, as well as an office with very good public transport connections.
- A green and dog-friendly office, terrace and free drinks.
- Complete technical equipment.
- 30 vacation days/year.
- Company pension scheme.
- Family-friendly approach to reporting short-term illnesses in children.
We want open and respectful cooperation in a diverse team!
If you want to be part of it, we look forward to receiving your application.
