CO2 emissions in the real estate sector must be reduced quickly. But what is not measured cannot be controlled in a targeted manner: Our live data on consumption and generation in properties enables the most effective use of electricity, gas, heat and water in everyday life.

We are a young Berlin-based scale-up that supports sustainability and incorporates it into our day-to-day business operations. To strengthen our team, we are looking to hire as soon as possible at our Berlin or Heidelberg location.

As a Data Administrator (m/f/d), you will ensure that complex data streams, customer changes, and master data are processed accurately in our systems. We will teach you the ins and outs of the energy industry, in return, you will bring the organizational skills, attention to detail, and enthusiasm needed to help build operational standards in a growing scale-up.

Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the precise entry, verification, and correction of measurement and master data, ensuring consistently high data quality.
  • You thoroughly familiarize yourself with our specialized, in-house data management system and use it to manage all administrative meter replacement and registration processes.
  • You check data for plausibility, identify discrepancies or data entry errors, and resolve outstanding issues in a structured manner.
  • You serve as the reliable point of contact for external partners, service providers, and network operators regarding questions about data records and missing documents.
  • You bring structure to unfinished workflows, document best practices for data management, and actively help develop clear checklists for the team.

Profile

  • You have successfully completed a business or technical apprenticeship or a university degree.
  • You bring at least 2 years of professional experience in operational back-office work, data management or customer service logistics.
  • You are proficient in using Google Sheets/Excel and CRM systems, and are eager to learn our in-house software solution.
  • You keep a cool head even when faced with a heavy workload, tight deadlines, or bureaucratic inquiries, and you prioritize your tasks independently.
  • You enjoy helping to design new workflows and like establishing initial standards, checklists, and processes within the data team.
  • You are interested in making a career change into the energy industry and are not intimidated by regulated markets or complex processes.
  • You are fluent in German (at least C1 level) and have a good command of English (at least B2).

What we offer
