CO2 emissions in the real estate sector must be reduced quickly. But what is not measured cannot be controlled in a targeted manner: Our live data on consumption and generation in properties enables the most effective use of electricity, gas, heat and water in everyday life.
 
We are a young Berlin start-up that supports sustainability and also lives it in our day-to-day business. To support our finance team we are looking for a Controller in Berlin at the earliest possible date.

Position

Your focus will be on setting up, developing and automating our controlling processes as well as internal and external reporting. You will also support us in the automation of our accounting processes.
 
Internal controlling:
  • You create, automate and analyze target/actual comparisons to ensure budget adherence and identify deviations at an early stage.
  • You support us in monthly and annual budget planning and monitoring and in the preparation of forecasts.
  • You prepare and monitor KPIs to continuously measure the company's performance.
  • You record and analyze financial performance at company and division level and point out unfavorable developments at an early stage.
  • You monitor and optimize data quality in the specialist departments and thus ensure a reliable database.
External controlling:
  • You create and maintain investor reports in order to communicate company figures in a transparent and comprehensible manner.
  • You carry out ad-hoc analyses to support the decision-making process of the management and external stakeholders.
 

Profile

  • You have a degree in business administration, economics, industrial engineering, business informatics or a comparable qualification.
  • You have at least 3 years of professional experience in management consulting, controlling or internal audit.
  • You enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
  • You are disciplined, analytical and solution-oriented, even when faced with complex challenges.
  • You enjoy acquiring new knowledge and have an independent and proactive way of working.
  • You are very confident in using IT systems and Excel. Experience with BI tools, reporting systems, databases and SQL desired.
  • You are business fluent in German and have a very good command of English.
